Digital development is not only a challenge for the real estate industry, but above all offers great potential. ZAR Real Estate Holding has therefore joined the GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION e.V. (GDA).
Sustainable urban districts, smart cities, digital solutions for ESG – these few keywords alone show: Increasing networking creates new opportunities. This makes it all the more important for ZAR Real Estate Holding to work with the right partners. GDA is an association of operators and owners of data centres of all sizes and is supported by leading research institutes, municipalities and a network of partners. As a platform for high-level networking in the industry, the association facilitates qualified exchange on technology and market trends. GDA’s goal is to increase the attractiveness of investing in German locations, to sustainably improve the framework conditions for operating data centres in Germany and to strengthen the growth of the industry and its perception in business, society and politics.
“Data centres form the basis for almost all digital applications and can make a positive contribution to the digital transformation and the achievement of climate goals. As a fully integrated developer for real estate projects operating throughout Germany, we would like to become more involved in this area and are therefore looking forward to cooperation, new impulses and a lively exchange in the GDA,” says Gerrit Molineus, Head of Development at ZAR Real Estate Holding.
