New CDO: Martin Hofmann is a new Managing Director of ZAR Real Estate Holding

Munich, 21 September 2021 – Martin Hofmann appointed Chief Development Officer and Managing Director of ZAR Real Estate Holding from 1 October. The Munich real estate company is expanding its management team.

Hofmann has over twenty years experience in the real estate sector. Over the last thirteen years, the 47-year-old has held several executive positions at JLL Germany, most recently as Head of Project & Development Services, in which capacity he was responsible for technical consultancy services and project control in the DACH and CEE region. “I look forward to getting started with my exciting challenge at ZAR Real Estate Holding. Together with the team, my aim is to develop exceptional projects, realise building developments, and build our own individual portfolio,” says Hofmann.

“With Martin Hofmann, we are lucky enough to have a first-class project development specialist on board,” says Daniel Argyrakis, CFO and also a managing director at ZAR Real Estate Holding, adding: “Above all, this will drive on the strategic development of our platform in terms of project development, building competence, asset management, and the procurement of planning permissions.”

Development of teams and new sites

The number of employees at ZAR Real Estate has shot up in the last two years. The management team has also grown significantly, thanks to the company’s rapid economic growth and the many new duties that have arisen. At the start of 2021, Daniel Argyrakis was appointed CFO of ZAR Real Estate and now sits on the ZAR Management Board together with the CDO, Martin Hofmann. Moreover, ZAR Real Estate Holding will soon be opening a new office in Berlin, in addition to the company’s existing branch in Düsseldorf.
